Maria is the Recreation Services Manager. With a 10-year background working in the travel industry as a cruise ship activities manager and an airline flight coordinator, Maria landed at Tapestry at The O’Keefe - Arbutus Walk when it opened. In addition, she has also spent two years working with seniors at an Adult Day Centre.

Maria completed her studies in Gerontology Based Recreation in 2004 and is currently the Vancouver representative for the British Columbia Activity Coordinators Association.

On an average day you can catch Maria leading a craft class, decorating for a special event, teaching a computer class, calling a bingo game, coordinating entertainment or driving the shuttle bus – that is, if you can catch her!
